The Jade Dog Jewelry Challenge
My friend Christi is an amazingly accomplished artist friend ... photographer, gardener, natural dyer and beader extraordinaire. So when she throws down the gauntlet ... well, okay, gently waves it in my face, gentle soul that she is... I had to react.
Enter The Jade Dog Designs' Darcy Horn who hosts a Spring Beading Challenge:
And I said, "Sure! Why not?!" Because Darcy states right up front, that one isn't limited to jewelry and my immediate inclination was an assemblage. I often use jewelry elements in my creations.
Here's what I have to work with:
Don't those green pellet beads look like vertebrae?! They sure did to me!
But it seems my Muse, has other ideas.
Go figure!
